Hi Roz,
Our Property and Facilities section had the same problem with chairs
disappearing from lecture rooms if they were left there. They now bring the
chairs to the lectures and collect them after the lecture finishes. I think
they have a position caused 'lecture room attendant' and that person is in
charge of looking after the furniture. Somewhat cumbersome but, short of
having the required item chained down in each room, I can't really think of
any other alternative.

Are other institutions finding that some students with physical disabilities
are requiring specialist seating on campus? If so, how have you ensured the
security of the chair? and how have you organised logistics when lectures
are in different buildings across the campus?
