If you have broadband you can get IP video phones (connect to a TV
video/audio input) for under 200 GBP (Videk - Dlink). I have just got one
and not tried it out yet but quite impressed with other IP phone I've used
- including using web cams on computers. (It is recommended that you use
Win XP to cut out audio echo and a high speed machine ~2GHz to cope with
the data rate and de-compression).
