Peter,
Quite a few of the wireless devices actually run off the USB ports, so
you don't need the PS/2 ports in order to connect the equipment.
Also, I have a Microsoft mouse and keyboard that can either be
connected to the USB or PS/2 ports of a computer. Maybe the Microsoft
trackball has this option?
