I didn't give names because I was wondering if the devices
were non-transferable, i.e. if you use a PC Werth Radio Aid
you have to use a PC Werth device etc. WE have used the
Connevans Transmitter Input Adapter and found the company
very helpful. You also need a selection of leads to connect
to all possible sockets. I believe the Adapter simply
ensures that the PA output is not too powerful.
I only found out about this by accident when a helpful
sound engineer told me.
If not all Radio Aid manufacturers offer this facility then
students who will be attending courses where use is made of
PA systems (videos etc) might wish to consider changing
their radio aids.
