I though Eleanor raised the most important point - what's causing the
phobia? Making accomodations is important, but it's equally important to
enable the student to find out and deal with the problem. Maybe a
referral to an experienced counsellor or psychologist is relevant.
Sometimes people who have compensated well for dyslexia, even throughout
HE, find their strategies fall apart under exam conditions. A series of
sessions with an experienced counsellor/dyslexia tutor on exam techniques
could help resolve this problem?
