Fear of being stuck or just being in "hamster mode" might
be behind that!
Though we have double automatic doors, which were
supposed to deal with the draught factor, it
didn't work because the space between them is too
small and the outer ones haven't closed when the
inner ones open. Instead they are generally set to
open on alternating halves, which is bog all use to anyone
in a wheelchair or whatever. And we have had the edifying
spectacle of someone carrying a PC trapped in the gap
between them when the mechanism got confused by people
approaching from opposite ends!
Maybe with global warming all those draughts will disappear
and we will exist in a gloriously comfortable climate where
a gentle through breeze is a pleasure - instead of an
arctic blast!!
