Its not as straight forward as you make out Iain.
Although what you have said is technically true, like all things in life
there are exceptions. If the student is likely to miss large amounts of
information, in lets us say, the same way as a hearing impaired or
visually impaired person would then it is possible to include the cost
of technical tutorials within the DSA framework. These are to ensure
that the student has the information required to carry out the required
tasks. The technical tutorial is not the same as study skills tutorials
and there must be clear evidence that the student would not be given an
unfair advantage by putting them in place.
