For what it's worth we also received the request from Lahore.
In response I asked the enquirer to check the University web site (and
offered a paper based prospectus) to indicate which courses would be of
interest to the students concerned. If the enquiry was received by
e-mail does this meant here is access to a PC?
With this in mind I arranged for the general introductory information in
the prospectus to be transcribed and ready to hand if needed. This is
only likely to need minor changes over the years, and the Transcription
centre we use can keep the word formatted information in their records
until required.
If the enquirer requests specific course information for individual
students, we will supply them with the appropriate format.
Is this anticipatory - general info available fairly quickly, specific
information available on request?!
Also got our publications dept thinking about the issues involved.
