Actually although I said I stand corrected, on reflection I though
30,000 was quite a high number. The number of registered Blind or
Partially sighted people in the UK is in the region of 350,000, 90%
of who are so because of old age. that leave 35,000. Most won't
use Braille surely (although some elderly people will, obviously,
use Braille). My contact, who is Braille user and acts as a
consultant, when pushed says 3500 Braille user in UK.
