I would endorse the recommendation about contacting BATOD. You may also find it useful to obtain from them a copy of the informative and practical booklet they published in conjunction with the National Association for Tertiary Education for Deaf People (NATED) - called 'Language of Examinations'.
Hope you find what you're searching for........

Kirsty
This is an issue we are currently dealing with at Queens. I have been
working with two teachers from BATOD (British Association of Teachers for
the Deaf), they have been so helpful and have actually carried out the
modification of the exam papers for one of my deaf students. You should try
the BATOD website and find a local contact www.batod.org.uk
Hope this is of some use

Subject: Language Modification
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone out there has guidance on Language Modification of
exam papers for deaf/dyslexic students, that they wouldn't mind sending to
me, before I start trying to re-invent the wheel in putting some together...
Thanks in anticipation,
Kirsty
