Hi Kirsty
Try Tony Attwood. He's an Australian with a wealth of knowledge regarding supporting people with Aspergers. Before you lament the fact that he is on the other side of the planet he does speaking tours of the UK (as well as the US). He is speaking in London on June 4 and 5 - see details at http://www.heghog.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=9
You probably won't get him just for your staff as I think he is booked out till mid 2005 but this workshop might be all you need as it does address access and participation in post compulsory education.
good luck

Subject: trainers specialising in Aspergers syndrome
Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommend any trainers with experience in training on Aspergers
Syndrome? Would like someone who can talk about solutions and strategies,
and not just the medical stuff,
Thanks! Kirsty
