Dear all,
My partner is currently trying to work out the best way to teach the
martial art Ninjutsu to a group of visually impaired children and young
adults. Ninjutsu is not a sport, and is more a self-defence martial art.
Indeed this is the aim of the exercise - to teach this group enough
self-defence to boost their confidence, where they might otherwise feel
vulnerable.
They have been to train this group once before, and all parties very
much enjoyed themselves. Because of this there are likely to be more
participants, and the instructors are keen to ensure that they are able
to disseminate the information they have more effectively. They are
planning on taking more instructors, but as this is an unusual
experience for all concerned, they are keen to have an much advice as
possible.
Does anyone know of anything like this happening anywhere before, or
have any tips which might be useful?
Many thanks
Steph
