Whilst I understand the intention of the enquiry re Buddies for Dyslexic students, should we not spare a thought about where support stops and advantage begins?. Is this another example of exploitation of "Support" to assist students with their specific course work?, something I believe is contrary to DSA regulations.
Our concern for the disabled student is right and proper but it must be made with due care and attention, our actions are in danger of making the DSA application something to be viewed with disbelief.

Subject: Buddies / mentors for dyslexic students
A general enquiry: has anyone organised such a service for dyslexic
students, possibly using postgrads - trained - to mentor (especially
first year)students in their subject areas. I would welcome info on or
off Forum.
