As far as I'm aware, the three networks of South East, E Anglia, and
Midlands all lost their co-ordinators last year (one moved post and two
co-ordinators resigned as they had done it for 2-3 years and, quite rightly,
felt it time to pass on the responsibility). Therefore, these three networks
have not met in a while as there has been no one to coordinate the meetings.
I am currently undertaking a review for Skill of the networks and, as part
of this, will be considering how best we can help/input into the networks to
ensure they continue running. However, I've yet to finalise this but hope
to do so in the very near future.
In the meantime, if anybody is interested in being an interim co-ordinator
and calling one of the Skill meetings in these areas (I have been contacted
separately regarding the South East network) please contact me off list
(email or phone 020 74500644) to discuss what we can do together to get the
networks fully functioning again.
