The posting attachments has generated a lot of complaints over the years. It
particularly annoys those on dial-up. It's easy to forget the luxury of our
University connections!
I've always encouraged peoiple to send me documents for hosting on the dis-
forum web site. Simply email them to me and I will upload them and provide
you with a URL you can put in your message for those that are interested to
look at.
I have now imposed a size limit of 100K on messages to dis-forum. Thanks to
Paul Hubert for pointing out that it is possible to do this. On this basis 7
of the messages sent in the last month would have been rejected.
You will still be able to send attachments as long as they don't exceed this
size. If they get rejected you can send them to me for hosting. If you don't
want to do this you can try pasting the text of your document into your email
client. Another thing to try is removing logos, graphics etc. from the
document.

Paul
