Dear colleagues
I am pleased to announce that the UKCOSA/Skill notes on good practice in working with international students with disabilities in higher education are now available. They are attached to this email and will also shortly be available on the Skill website, www.skill.org.uk.
<<FAQs for International officers_finalversion.doc>> <<Good practice_finalversion.doc>>
The guidance notes have also been distributed to colleagues in International Offices via UKCOSA's mailing list and are available on the UKCOSA website at http://www.ukcosa.org.uk/pages/disability.htm.
We will be starting to work on parallel guidance for further education in the future, and would welcome volunteers from the FE sector who can offer their experience of working with international students with disabilities. Please contact me if you would be willing to get involved.
Kate Goddard
Policy Officer
