Caroline,
I am managing a Strand 2 project that aims to address precisely
this issue by producing guidance for academic staff in the form of
an 'Inclusivity Toolkit'.
For manageability, the project concentrates on 10 subjects only
and strategies for accessing the curriculum will be applicable to all
students with disabilities, not just mental health difficulties.
Please give me a call or have a look at our website if you want to
discuss this further.

Subject: mental health and access to the curriculum

I am doing some work for the OU's strand 2 project and am looking for electronic or published resources on how to provide access to the curriculum for students with mental health difficulties. There is quite a lot out there on supporting such students but there seems to be less on how to ensure
that approaches to learning and teaching respond to their particular needs. Any pointers to resources gratefully received!
Caroline
