I feel quite strongly about this one. I reply to such requests by saying
it's not possible to distinguish levels in that way and giving the details
of support that a particular student needs. The request is based on a
misconception about the way dyslexia is measured, as though on a scale like
a measuring jug. If its a general query, I'd reply with guidance on the kind
of support academic staff are likely to be asked to provide.
On the positive side, it's a good opportunity to start a conversation.
