Hi
Many of you will already be aware that a working party has been convened
to consider arrangements for identifying/assessing dyslexia -
essentially for the purposes of providing evidence to underpin
applications for Disabaled Students Allowances.
Although the focus will be very much on activity as it affects Higher
Education, given that FE students often progress to HE, the issue will
probably be of interest to most on the list. The DfES will disseminate
to keep everyone informed of progress. The working party terms of
reference and minutes of the the first meeting are available at:
