Notetakers Wanted
Access Summit - Joint Universities' Disability Resource Centre - is
recruiting notetakers to work with disabled students at the four Universities
of Manchester and Salford to start work in September/October 2003.
Applicants must be:
* Graduates / post-graduates only
* Committed to a minimum of 5 hours notetaking per week
* Available to attend a briefing session on Wednesday 3rd September where we will explain the way the Register works, discuss the role and rates of pay, and assess your English, spelling notetaking and handwriting skills.
* Available to attend a four day training course on 3, 4, 9 and 10 September 2003 (on successful completion of this course you will be paid at the qualified rate of £9.55 per hour)

* We will look at your application, and if you have suitable skills and qualifications, we will contact you to invite you to attend the briefing session on Wednesday 3rd September 2003.
