Our experience has largely been consistent - WAIS seems to be the one. Some have different 'expiry dates', but generally take a pragmatic view. One or two question our assessor's definition of dyslexia.

Subject: psychology report criteria
Dear Everyone
What is your experience of LEAs and the new criteria for psychology reports
for SpLD/dyslexia?
I've had one LEA who refused to accept a report less than two years old
because it was WISC not WAIS and today I've heard of another which has
accepted a report done when the student was 15 and three quarters!
While I don't want unnecessary assessments insisted upon, there are surely
limits to inconsistencies - or is this another example of a postcode
lottery?
Regards
Liz
