Subject: Re: DSA accredited centres
Hi
It seems you are being funding by the General Social Care Council for
your assessment. The GSSC has decided to use NFAC centres as trusted
assessment services.
The GSSC is either administering DSA for central government or has
developed it's own scheme. The guidance from DfES is that extra travel
costs to attend DSA Assessment can be met from the general allowances
of
the DSA, so they might need to be alerted to this.
You can download the MS Word DOC format version of the DfES guidance
booklet 'bridging the gap' at the following address

version.doc
Refer to section 11 How can I find out what I will need?
Hope this helps
Ian
