Hello all,
I am being asked for guidance on the requirement to make/fund
'reasonable adjustments' such as notetaker/interpreter
support/equipment loans for students who are not eligible for the
DSA (e.g international students, or for students whose DSA is not
sufficient).
Currently it seens that some universities have a small pot of
money, some will make adjustments but will not fund specialsist
support, and some are considering top slicing international tuition
fees to pay for support.
Can anyone whose university has either made a policy
decision/statement, or has identified any kind of budget for such
support please contact me off line? I am interested also if
Universities are expecting students to fund all or some their own
specialist support if they are not eligible for the DSA.
many thanks in advance
