Annette
we use a courier to move CCTV's all over the UK. If the student has kept
the original packaging there should be no problem and I guess could claim
the cost through DSA as a legitimate expense as she will be unable to study
without it.

Subject: Placements
Hi All,
We have a Dietetics student with a visual impairment about to go on
placement in Shrewbury. She has DSA and has a computer with
magnification software and a CCTV. She tells me she relies on the CCTV
to do her reading for her course but obviously is going to find it
difficult to transport it from here in the frozen North! Is there any
kind of loan scheme where we could get the equipment for the duration of
her placement or does anyone have any local knowledge of who I might go
to for advice. I'd be very grateful for any help.
