www.mmu.ac.uk/snape
This website has been created within the ESF-
funded SNAPE Project, which is based at th Manchester Metropolitan University in the Centre for the
Promotion of Social Inclusion in the Department of Humanities and
Applied Social Studies at Alsager. It is an on-line assessment tool
for students, which will identify any support needs that might be
required to study effectively, ideally in advance of their programmes
of study in HE. This on-line assessment tool will help to reduce
the time taken in one-to-one assessments.
We urgently need people - staff and students etc to volunteer their time in piloting this tool.
We would like to hear your views about the layout, content, style
and general usability. It will be necessary to fill in the opening
page (with your name, details of LEA etc) in order to progress
through to the assessment itself. Further details and technical
support can be obtained by contacting Aubrey on Ext 5360, or at
[log in to unmask]
We are offering an incentive of 5 x £100 vouchers, redeemable at
W H Smith to the 5 names selected at random from the first 500
participants in this pilot.
The closing date for participation is 31.12.02
Please give your time. Your support is very important to the
success of the SNAPE Project.
Best regards
