Yes I've just noticed this change - rather a retrograde step.

Subject: Microsoft Student Licences - MS Office XP
Have any of you a view regarding the major change to Microsoft
Student Licenses. Essentially there are two changes the first is a big
improvement in that the disk now comes in the box so the student no longer
has to complete the license form and post it off to Microsoft in Amsterdam.
However the second change is not so good. Whereas with Office 2K you could
choose to have the Office Pro or Premium Student Licence with XP you have no
choice as it is only available for MS Office XP Standard and this pack
excludes both Access and Front Page. Access and Front Page are not available
through Student Licence at all and can only be purchased at full retail
price.
I would be interested in colleagues comments
