Firstly, hello. This is the first time I have posted to this list, though
I have been lurking around the archives for years.
Secondly, I have posted this mail to both dis-forum and SpLD. So if you
are a member of both lists, I would like to apologise now for boring you
twice with what might be a request for some pretty basic information.
It has got to that time of year when the flow of students is dying down and
we can get down to cleaning up the mess and doing those jobs that we didn't
have the time for before. For me that means (amongst many other things)
reviewing and updating our collection of dyslexia support resources.
Specifically, I am on the look out for packs, workshop plans, exercises
etc. that have proved helpful for developing dyslexic students' academic
skills. Having said that I would be interested in any materials, books,
software and so on that people have found particularly helpful of late in
this respect. Staff awareness materials would also be handy.
Any ideas?
