Subject: Out now - Skill's DDA quiz
Dear all
Skill has developed a magazine-style multiple choice quiz DDA quiz to
motivate (and frighten!) institutions and those most resistant and
reactionary staff into recognising the new provisions of the Disability
Discrimination Act.
As you all know, the new duties come into force in September 2002 so now is
the perfect time to test out your understanding of the law and good
practice, and brush up your knowledge before it's too late. But do put it to
whatever use you please (no, that's not a cue for funny suggestions), eg you
may want to use it with non disability staff, especially those of you who do
disability training sesssions for academic staff etc.
So, it's Friday - why not go online now to
http://www.skill.org.uk/dda_quiz/index.htm and test your knowledge and see
how you score. There are 20 questions in total.
Good luck.
Caroline
