I like the way they try to confuse the non-numerate by mixing inches and
feet....
"The OQO device's screen, though small, is said to provide sufficient
resolution to be equivalent, when held in a hand at a typical distance of
8-20 inches from the user's eye, to a notebook's 12-14 inch LCD that rests on
a desk at a distance of 1-2 feet (12 to 24 inches for those that have
forgotten imperial measurements) from the user."
In other words, you can see it if you get closer !
And I didn't notice any weight mentioned. It's all very well saying it fits
in a shirt pocket, but what about all my coloured biros? Where do they go?
Seriously though, we see lots of devices announced. I'd rather wait until
it's out.
Imagine the LEA Awards Officer's face when this appears on the first needs
assessment.
