Won't be rude to you but say that this is how we have things organised too,
so long as the original assessment of the needs is accurate this and any
technology or human support should place studetn on level playing field
(wish we could find a better euphemism sometimes)

Can I ask a question that is constantly being put to me. If the student is
already getting extra support (possibly in terms of extra time, scribes or
study skill advice) why should they then be given extra consideration if
all the support to help them is in place, in order to "level the playing
field".. Please don't send me rude remarks in replies as I am only quoting
what I am being asked and having difficulty in giving a convincing
arguement.
