The Snowdon Award Scheme provides grants to physically impaired students
studying further, higher education or training at a college or university
within the UK. Students should be between 17 and 25 years of age, although
older applicants will be considered funds permitting. Awards of up to
£2,000 p.a. (max. of 2 years) are granted for disability-related costs of
study such as notetakers, communicators, computers, wheelchairs, transport
and adapted accommodation.
Applications are now being accepted for grant support in the academic year
2002/2003. The main closing date for completed applications is 31 May 2002.
