At Teesside, we have a system of Reminder Slips for coursework (not exams).
The student lets us know when and how many assignments they need to hand in
and we prepare their individually tailored 'Reminder Slip' for them. They
simply attach this to the front of their ICAs and it says something like:
The above named student is dyslexic and therefore may have difficulty in the
following areas........(e.g. reading, organisation of thought etc.)Please
take this into account when marking their work.
It's a system that seems to work very well.
Hope this helps.

I would also be very keen to hear about this as we are also reviewing
policy! Could people please copy me into their responses if they don't
reply to the forum ([log in to unmask]).
Thanks
