If you go to
http://www.niad.sussex.ac.uk/learning_and_teaching_descriptions.cfm and
click on Fieldwork there are links to different sites that host information
on the subject.
The route taken is to the database, Advice Archive, Learning and Teaching
Category Descriptions then you can choose from a list of learning situations
and the link http://www.chelt.ac.uk/el/philg/gdn/disabil/index.htm is for
Learning Support for Disabled Students Undertaking Fieldwork and Related
Activities.
Hope this helps a little.
Best wishes

Subject: European Field Trip
Hi Everyone
We have a postgrad student who is a wheel chair user with high support
needs including personal care. In the second year of his study he is due
to attend a European field trip, his department are very supportive and
have not picked the destination as yet. With this in mind I would be
grateful of any good practice experiences of European field trips and or
experiences of funding for academic and personal care support during field
trips.
Many thanks in anticipation.
