Dyslexia, A guide for Staff, is now available from the London Institute.
The ideas presented in this book are based on experience and research with
a large number of students, staff and dyslexia support groups. Its aim is
to enable staff to gain a better understanding of dyslexia. It is intended
to provide background information and a general introduction to dyslexia as
well as practical ideas for working with students.
The need for this book was identified following staff training sessions
carried out as part of the HEFCE funding disability project 'Enhancing the
Course Offer'. Feedback revealed that staff wanted a resource guide giving
practical advice on how to work with students during all aspects of their
course work.
