A student with a physical disability needs support with laboratory work for
their dissertation (independent study) . Currently this is provided by a
lab technician for lab work and a DSA funded support assistant for other
non -medical support. What guidelines do other institutions use to ensure
lab technician support is not percieved as doing the work for the student
rather than facilitating the student?
