Here at Lincoln we use a contact management database called
Maximizer. We have used this since 1995 and find it extremely
good. At this time it does not interface with our student
management system due to it being a very old mainframe system.
As soon as we introduce a new sms, hopefully in about a year, we
will set up Maximizer to communicate with the new system in real
time. Maximizer is available with a developer kit to enable total
customisation.
You can get further information and a trial copy from
http://www.maximizer.com. The application comes in a range of
implementations to suit most environments. Its great features for
us are that it is very easy to add or remove fields and the level of
security it offers. If you do have a look at it don't be put off by it
looking very sales force oriented. If you need to ask specific
questions give me a call.
