I don't disagree with Doreen that they will be joint data controllers and
will both need to notify but there may be further complications in such
arrangements
Where the data held by a partnership arrangement is being processed for the
purposes of the partnership itself which are not the purposes of any
individual member of that partnership there is a question mark over the
status of the data in terms of DP responsibility.
This is something which is currently under the spotlight due to the
proliferation of partnership arrangements for multi-agency working.
