The TPS is for unsolicited telephone marketing. I'm presuming that, as you
are a member of Amnesty - and hence interested in their activities (ie
newsletters, updates, events etc)- you would have already 'opted in' to
receiving materials and being contacted by them?
If this is the case, then I assume they are within their rights to
telephone you (unless, of course, you opted out of receiving communications
by telephone).
Hence, my view is, in your situation the TPS does'nt apply.
Anyone with vastly conflicting views out there?
