their site DOES say this: "* Under the terms of the Data Protection Act
1998, HSE acts as Data Controller for all information submitted to the
incident Contact Centre. HSE would like to reassure users of the interactive
RIDDOR reporting forms posted on this Website that all aspects of the ICC
service fully comply with the terms and conditions of the Data Protection
Act 1998. All data - from receipt through to processing and onward
transmission to enforcing authorities - is held both securely and in the
strictest confidence. " on page

I make no comment other than to include it here

Hi,
I you remember I had a rant about the Health and Safety Executive collecting
persona and sensitive data of accidents etc.
http://www.riddor.gov.uk/reportanincident.html
Their form for submission of inuries etc is back on line. It is not
encrypted and I am not going to try to see if it might make an encrypted
transmission at the last moment. Nor is there a statement on DP and use of
the data of the person supplying the form etc.
e-Government has many years to go to become e.
