Dear Sally
I am content for the archives to be public and think it makes the group
more open to additional members. In my case I know I joined the list
because I was able to read messages which had been posted by members.

Currently only members can received and send email
however anyone is able to searhc the archives for past topics
and template files etc.
Some members have asked me about making the archives of our
mailing list private to members only. I can do this was but
means that all members will need to register themselves a
password for their email addresses to be able to enter the
archive from the link in the main jiscmail home page.
Please could I have your views on this.
thanks
