How funny. Although the word _is_ clearly badly chosen, I think it's
a very long time since any MTA's used precedence headers to
prioritise their queues or determine delivery speeds whereas it has
for some time been used to flag list traffic from other traffic.
Anyway, I'm pleased to hear the answer. Now if we can all pressurise
those who write autoresponders or who buy or implement them to
respect precedence settings and not respond to "list" or "bulk"
precedence mail, then we'd be further forward.
Thanks Spencer.
