Is an exclusion clause such as the following likely to be valid?
"X company accepts no responsibility for the loss of any data or
software or the failure of any security or privacy mechanism"
Surely you can't avoid principle 7 (and most of the others for that
matter!) simply by slipping in a clause like that? Surely the Unfair
Contract Terms Act would have a thing or two to say if nothing else.
Can anybody point me in the direction of some relevant advice - I can't
find anything!
