Thanks for that Steve, but that was not the question.
The reason for retaining an e-mail senders details, and publishing them
within archived messages, which are then made publicly available seemed to
revolve around the senders details forming a pertinent part of the message.
Who received a message seems as pertinent in such an argument to assist in
fully understanding a message archive.
The query was:-
Should the person(s) a message is sent to also be shown on each message
included within a publicly available mail group/news group archive?
Considering that question, and the answer to it, seems to assist in throwing
some light on the original debate regarding e-mail discussion group archive
management.
