All,
Many thanks for all the replies that I have, I spoke to my friend last night
wh
o has received a letter from the company asking for the documents back as
they
belong to the company!!.
I have advised her to contact the OIC again as this is sounding like the
company may have some sort of problem. Also, a couply of you said that did
it
cause her any problems, the company concerned refused her credit and then
put
her and her house on a credit blacklist. She can no longer get credit and
the
company is refusing to explain why. Before anyone asks, yes she does have a
good credit rating, never owed money before and when she brought house 6
months
ago she had it credit checked and all was fine.
She has suggested asked would it be better for her to speak to a solicitor
than
to OIC?? My advice was that she should still go to the OIC but it might be
worth it.
Any more ideas??
Stuart
