I would like the views of the group on the following.
We are about to introduce a 'First Aid Incident Report Form'.This is to
record incidents to the staff or the public visiting the building. The form
requires the obvious usual personal data such as name, address etc. Also
recorded are Details of the Injury and Treatment Given.
The record will be kept in case of follow up claims or further action.
Do details of the injury come under 'Sensitive data - Physical Health or
Mental Condition ?
How long should this data be kept before destruction ?
Should it be kept at all ?
Do we need the consent of the data subject to hold this data ?
Are there Health and Safety regs that may cover all this anyway ?
