The security number can be found on the comfirmation letter you would have received from the OIC when you last renewed your Notification.

Subject: Notification alterations
Dear all,
I am renewing our institution's notification and wish to make an amendment
to a purpose. There are forms for doing this and at the top of these forms
there is a box for a 'security number' and it says 'You must quote the
Security number or the form will be returned.' However, it doesn't say
where top get this number from!
Does anyone know where this security number comes from?
I've tried calling the notification dept. at the Commissioner's but
unfortunately the number is always busy.
Thanks,
Matt
