I wouldn't be too hasty to spring to judgement on "weird rainbow alliance
lifestyles".
Given the changes in society which are resulting in more couples living
together without marrying, the huge rise in divorce, the growing number of
single parents, the growing number of people who choose to live alone, the
significant proportion of the population that is gay, etc. it could be
argued that people who are married are following (to use your own words) a
pretty "weird" lifestyle!

And I wonder if you have any idea how many people find the very concept
of cross-dressing distasteful and are seriously offended by people who
promote their own weird "rainbow alliance" lifestyles by denigrating
those of us who are married?
Whilst I would not agree with the Islamic scholars who call for the
transgendered and others suffering from birth defects to be slain, I
really don't want to have to think about such subjects each time I write
a letter. Toleration of alternate lifestyles is one thing, but please
don't make it compulsory!
