Dear all,
As part of the consultation exercise for the JISC-funded revision to
the Study of the Records Lifecycle currently being carried out by
Emmerson Consulting we are seeking participants for two
workshops.
The objective of these workshops is to provide those with an interest
in, or responsibility for, the effective management of records within
HE with the opportunity to discuss key issues which have come to light
during the revision process and to respond to the outline plans which
will be presented by Elizabeth Parker during the day.
It should be noted that the success of these events will depend on the
active participation and contribution of those attending and that this
will involve a small amount of prior preparation.
These free full-day workshops are being held at the following dates and
venues:
* Council Room KCL, London - Monday 18th November
* Chancellors Hotel and Conference Centre, Manchester - Tues 19th Nov
Due to the interactive nature of these events numbers are limited to
twenty-five participants for each workshop. Places will be allocated
on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please email or telephone the JISC Administrative Assistant, Raymond
Sweetman ([log in to unmask], 0207 848 2936) to book a place
and be sure you indicate which workshop you would like to attend. Full
joining instructions and any other relevant information will then
follow in due course.
Many thanks
Steve Bailey
