Are batteries necessary then?
Accidents do seem to happen; There is not much humanity seems capable of to
stop them, short of removing humanity. It therefore seems necessary to
suffer them.
Are all CCTV and similar sounding systems a method of removing humanity, an
indication of insecurity, or merely an admittance of failure?
Well it is Friday now.

PS. For the uninitiated St Andrews is down the road from Dundee, cross the
river, about 10 miles as the crow flies.
