Many companies are increasingly using e-mail as a means of communication.
E-mail software packages themselves are becoming more efficient and easily
searchable.
As e-mail use increases the need to transfer information from an e-mail to
other databases can become an unnecessary burden for organisations.
Is anybody aware of any data controller who currently uses received e-mail
as the basis for a database? Say in a similar way to the JISCMAIL service.
How are the data protection issues then dealt with? e.g. subject access.
